Mailprotector engineers will be performing maintenance on all Hosted Exchange systems during the hours of 6:00am to 3:00pm ET. We are performing this update on New Years weekend to reduce the impact to users.
Exchange follows a scheduled delivery model. In this model, cumulative updates (CU), which address customer-reported issues and may include new functionality and/or features, are released quarterly.
All Exchange systems will be updated to the latest Microsoft version to ensure Mailprotector is delivering the best end-user experience.
Impact to Mailprotector Customers:
During this maintenance window, end users could experience a short time frame (20-30 minutes) in which their mailbox will be offline and not accessible via OWA or email client (Outlook or other). We do not anticipate prolonged inaccessibility during this window.
Inbound email will be queued while the systems are updated and available as soon as the Exchange systems are updated and back online - no email will be lost.
